Spotify already offers a $4.99 per month Spotify Premium for Students plan, which gave a $5 discount on the company's regular Premium service. Recently, current and new student subscribers can add Hulu's limited commercials plan (otherwise priced at $7.99 per month) to it for free. Hulu’s offer is available to students over the age of 18. Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I am not able to sign up for the student plan. I have already cancelled my premium subscription, and it is still valid till the 1st of April (after which I will be switched to the free. The only charge that you actually have to pay for is if you were successfully verified for the student discount. If you're having trouble signing up for the student discount, you can submit for manual verification (as a head's up, this can take up to 12 hours to process).
