Create A Free Spotify Account
Get access to Spotify for Artists. First, tell us who you are. Free Spotify Premium Account 2020. - Perform these steps if you’ve never created a MathWorks account, or have never used MATLAB, at Georgetown.
- You’ll need to create a MathWorks account before you can download from Georgetown’s MATLAB license.
Steps:
- Go to mathworks.com.
- Click on the link “Create Account”, located at the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- On the create account page, complete all required fields (Note: Make sure you enter your Georgetown e-mail address.) Click “Continue” when you’re done.
- On the “Customization Information” page, complete fields as appropriate. (For the question on how you plan to use the software, select “Academic Use” from the drop-down list.)
- Click “Continue”.
A page will be displayed with steps you’ll need to perform (check for e-mail from MATLAB, click on the link in the e-mail) so that your e-mail address can be verified. Important: Do not close this window until you’ve completed these steps. - Click “Continue” after you’ve completed the steps to verify your e-mail address. You will be returned to the MathWorks home page, and will be logged in to your new MathWorks account.
You can now download the MATLAB software.

What is the Spotify Student Discount?
Education is the pathway to a brighter future, or so they say. Therefore, Spotify wants to reward your hard work while studying by making it easy for you to enjoy your favourite music!
If you’re currently attending a registered college or university in the United States, then the cost of subscribing to Spotify Premium is cut in half! That’s right: you only pay $4.99 per month instead of the usual $9.99 per month (not including taxes)!
However, you have to fulfill three conditions to be eligible:
You must be using the United States version of Spotify.
You must sign up for a Spotify account with an email address from a registered college or university in the United States (i.e. one that ends in “.edu”).
You must enter billing details for a payment method that originates in the United States.
In addition, you can’t use this promotion in conjunction with any other discount or trial offer. Sorry!
How to get the Spotify Student Discount
Go to www.spotify.com in your web browser. If you’re in the United States, Spotify should automatically detect this based on your computer’s Internet address, and take you to the United States version of the website. (If it doesn’t, go to www.spotify.com/us instead.)
Scroll down the screen until you see “Student Discount”, and then click Learn More beside it.
On the next screen, click Get Premium.
When you reach the log-in screen, click Sign Up beside “Don’t Have an Account?” Then, simply follow step 3 in our How to Sign Up for Spotify tutorial. Just make sure to use your college-issued “.edu” email address!
From here, just follow steps 4 and 5 of the “How to get a Spotify (almost) free trial” section in our How Much Does Spotify Cost article: fill in your credit card details (or select to pay through PayPal), and then click Start Premium.
