Google Home’s vast collection of device and service connections expands today with Spotify Free. This is the version of Spotify users can take advantage of (for free) with commercials and slightly lower-quality audio than a paid account. This update should be made today to add to the ever-growing list of voice-controlled services and devices shown below.

Google Home previously had connectivity with the Premium Account Spotify, this newest update allows the free version to be activated as well. Google updated us today on the addition of “Spotify Free and Premium” to their list of “Control By Voice” items for Google Home. Users should have access to this update today or within the next few days.
